Irene, married to Sylvester Vaz mentioned about acting in a number of dramas and touring the Arabian Gulf in Rosario Rodrigues's dramas 'Fullam ani Kolle", "Dolle Ugddun Polle", "Ashram" and 'Piso" of Prince Jacob.

According to her, it seems She prefers to play tragedy roles (as She likes to make people cry, (sniff..) ) but added that she revelled in doing roles of a smartly attired femme.

According to Irene, her favourites are :-

Best Actor - Sylvester Vaz (her husband, who also happens to be her favourite Singer in the male category),
Lorna amongst the female Singers,
Favourite Comedian - Ben Evangelisto,
Favourite Writer - Rosario Rodrigues and
it seems her favourite song is 'Rozarachem Kont'.

Irene's future plans include giving her best to her fans & well-wishers through her talents from the Konkanni stage.
