Tiatrists felicitated
Panaji, April 19, 2002: Chief Minister of Goa, Sri Manohar Parrikar felicitated five senior Goan
tiatrists, Joe Rose, Agnelo D'Silva, Mariano Rodrigues, Josephine Dias and Rosario Rodrigues, at the Tiatr day celebrations organised at the Kala Academy here. Speaker and Chairman of Kala Academy Sri Pratapsingh Rane presided. Both Parrikar and Rane distributed cash prizes and certificates to the winners of the 27th Tiatr competition. Sri Parrikar said that through a tiatr, one could express feelings, as well as help to propagate Konkani language to other states where performances are held.
