Had a brief chat with Ancette Lawrence from Santa Cruz, who spoke about his melodious voice and at first mostly being into
singing and thereafter taking to acting on a continuous basis.

Ancette also spoke about bagging the award of Best Singer at a stretch for 4-years at Kala Academy and also during Kala Academy's Silver Jubilee celebrations, he mentioned about getting an award for "Ochorneancho Jesu".

Ancette further mentioned about acting for directors like late C. Alvares, Jacint Vaz, Rosario Rodrigues, John D'Silva and others.

Ancette, who's married, besides acting mentioned about singing on Goa Doordarshan and had plans of releasing his audio album entitled "Rochnar Deu Nidonkna".
