being held at the University College NORTHAMPTON- UK on 19th July 2000.
The Past, present and Future......of Football in India
Conference Aims:
To explore issues in UK and South Asian Sport. To introduce the First UK tour of
the Indian National Football Team.
The Indian Football Supporters' Club will be
holding their first International convention at the University College
Northampton on 18th July 2000.
Background
The IFSC started as a mailing list for all those around the world with a
commitment to following Indian Football. This first convention brings together
supporters from India, the UK and across the globe to focus on themes to the
following issues.
Conclusions and outlined policies will be presented to the main conference on
19th July 2000.
* organisation and structure of Indian Football supporters groups.
*mechanisms for effective lobbying of AIFF and Indian football clubs.
*integration of Indian national and international football supporters.
*development of Indian football in south Asia and in the Indian Diaspora.
*contact between IFSC and other International Football supporters' organisations.

The visiting Indian Football team will play at Fulham -UK on the 22nd July 2000,
amongst the squad are five Goans. Details to follow.
Also visiting London will be Alberto Colaco, Chairman of the Indian National
Football League.
