Remo Fernandes, scheduled for a 2-month tour of the Caribbean and the U.S., left Goa after Easter via London-Heathrow, Miami and then on to Jamaica.

As per the recent details provided by Remo from Trinidad about his time in Jamaica, he considers Jamaica a fascinating place and mentioned touring the island extensively including the Bob Marley & Reggae - Museums, besides other places.

On the musical front, Remo, mentioned about doing great recordings with producers like Mikie Bennett in Kingston [who records Ziggy Marley, etc], and Barry O'Hare in Ocho Rios [Grammy winner for Best Recording Engineer on "Burning Spear" album], and with some top Jamaican DJ/Rap/Dance-Hall artists like G-Blunt and Wippa Demus and also jamming up with the legendary Jamaican guitar player Dwight Pinkney.

Other activities included :-

- Attending and filming the Jamaican Carnival (comparing the Goan &   Jamaican - carnivals, had to say that ours was like a church   procession).

- Attending the Passa Passa parties.

- Accompanying the Dance Hall Queen on her round of performances  last week.

- Giving a lecture-demonstration on his music at the Jamaican School of Music, Kingston.

Having just landed in Trinidad, he was supposed to go to the rehearsal of the top Steel Drum Band in the evening.
