In the first place do accept my congratulations on your good work in running the Goa.World Community website in Kuwait and your active interest in Goan affairs.

I too am of Goan origin hailing from Saligao, based in Lisbon since my retirement from the Portuguese Foreign Service in 1994. Among various assignments broad, I had the unique opportunity of being posted to New Delhi as Head of the Consular Services of the Portuguese Embassy soon after the restoration of
diplomatic relations.

Because of the advantages the E.U. offers, and conscious of the keen desire of many Goans to acquire Portuguese citizenship, I have set up an advisory service for filing applications under the existing Portuguese Citizenship Law applicable to the third generation of Goans. This service also covers a follow up of cases already filed and pending at the Central Registry Office in Lisbon which is the authority to grant citizenship.
