The Kuwait Goa Foundation came into being on 30th May 1995 on the anniversary of Goa's Statehood day.

The foundation is a non-political & non-profit organisation dedicated to the promotion of Socio-cultural, educational & Sports activities in Kuwait & also for looking after the welfare of the Indian Community in Goa. As per the KGF its motto / aim is "Service above self", with this in mind they embarked upon to work for the betterment of the less fortunate Indians in Kuwait & also provided Charitable donations to Orphanages & Home(s) for the Aged in Goa & Calcutta. These activities drew praise from Senior Diplomats of various Indian missions and Mother Theresa also.

The KGF has also instituted a couple of Scholarships to students who top in the Xth & XIIth Standards. The Scholarships are given to the toppers in these classes irrespective of their Parental Origin.

In November of 1995 to commemorate the Diwali festival they organised the Festival of Lights, this was graced by the Speaker of the Goan Legislative Assembly and was a great success.

Functions Organized

The "MYSTIQUE GOA '96" an all night dance show and held in the month of November.

GOA-VISION : BEYOND 1997 : An all day dance show held in April. The same was well attended and a success.
