JOSE ROD's Cuts his Second CD "SUSKAR".

JOSE ROD, the Kuwait based Konkani stage playwright,
director, a versatile & talented actor (having acted in
a number of Konkani non-stop dramas for well known non-stop
drama directors like Rosefern, Prince Jacob, etc), besides
also directing & acting in his own dramas, one of which was
"Mauli" (which hit the double century mark) has cut his
second Konkani CD and sixth konkani album entitled "SUSKAR".

The album consists of 12-tracks and lyrics & tunes
for the same have been composed by Jose Rod himself for
BABUSH to arrange & conduct the music.

Suskar is dedicated to the late Romeo Mendes (Jose Rod's
Father-in-law), who has sung a duet (KAZAR) with Lorna.

Jose Rod sings four of the album's singles - JIVIT, AWARD,
PADRI & NIALL (songs based on true life happenings) and
at the same dueting in a couple of other songs,  one with
Lorna (UGDAS) and the other with Antonette Mendes
{BIRTHDAY, in this song, Jrosky's (Jose Rod's Son) voice
(recorded, when he was just a year old) is featured briefly
at the song's beginning}.

LORNA, whose songs have wowed and brought joy to a lot of
Konkani music lovers hearts, needs no introduction, sings
two of the album's singles including the title track "SUSKAR"
and the other being "GHORKAR". She also sings a couple of
the aforementioned duets (with Romeo Mendes & Jose Rod).

The remaining songs are sung by Mario Menezes (BHIKARI),
Comedian Philip (TELEPHONE with Cecilia Rod) and
Comedian Domnic (ISCOL).

The album's worth a hear with some pleasant tunes and good
social messages - with regards to tolerance for other religions,
respecting and following foreign laws when abroad, etc.
