Christmas Magic Unleashed

Yuletide music has a timeless appeal, especially during the merry season of Christmas. And ushering Goa’s X’mas season well ahead of Advent is a brand new album aptly titled Christmas Magic. A young talented trio of singers Ivan D’Cruz from Siolim, Savio Roy D’Souza (21) from Nachinola and 17-year-old Anjali Souza from Aldona, beautifully pour forth eight classic and two original carols. The originals: Christmas Magic, the title song, and A Little Bit of Christmas, coming from the pen of Ivan, manage to hold
their own against the likes of Holly Jolly Christmas, Away in the Manger, Rock Around The Christmas Tree, Blue Christmas, Jingle Bell Rock, Oh Holy Night, An Old Christmas Card and I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus. With fine musical arrangements by Leo D’Souza and digitally recorded at his Audiowave Studio in Porvorim, this reasonably priced 10-song collection on cassettes and CDs is bound to unleash its ‘Christmas Magic’ in Goan homes.
