PRERANA - GMC'S ANNUAL MAGAZINE 2000:

The annual magazine of Goa Medical College was released by Prof O Gomes, Prof and Head Department of Konkani, Goa University who was the chief guest of the function.

This year the magazine was named `Prerana' and it is recollected that last year Gomeco magazine had won the first place in all Goa.

The function started off with lighting of the ceremonial lamp and release of the magazine. Later the magazine secretary Antonio D'Costa introduced the members on the dais and explained the idea of the magazine.

The dean Dr B N Reddy and Dr D D Motghare also address the gethering and were full of praises to the magazine committee.

Prof O Gomes, with his splendid oration impressed the gethering. He had word of advise to the future doctors in their endeavour. Milind Dessai with Pinky Salgaonkar compered the function and Ravin Rego gave the vote of thanks.
